If person believes in God and tries to develop such qualities as compassion, mercifulness, love, peacefulness etc, shouldn’t that person become a vegeterian and stop killing animals just for gratification of one’s greedy stomach?

Is it haram to use non halal shampoo s or creams or soaps… which I don t know they were made of …with the big list of chemicals. and is there any healthcare line that is available in europe that in 100% halal no animals or alkohol. because I searched some vegeterian cosmetics dont use or test on animals but do use alkohol when they get some ingredients from plants. so is this making it haram? or its only forbidden to use in inside not outside

Okay, now we all know (or at least I hope everyone reading this question knows) that some animals simply cannot live off vegetable matter. They’re what you call obligate carnivores, and they HAVE to consume meat in order to live. Cats, ferrets, snakes, spiders, etc… all are obligate carnivores (with the exception of a fussy little spider that lives on acacia leaves), and they’ll starve to death if they don’t get meat, no matter how much vegetable matter you throw at them. Their digestive systems simply cannot digest vegetable matter.

The population of India follow Hinduism (mainly) and are vegeterian, why can’t they eat meat? Karma? Reincarnation? Or else?
