I need more fiber because I am at “high risk” of getting a disease or something thats in my genes or something says my mom. I was wondering what foods I could eat that contain a very high amount of fiber. Thanks a ton! Oh yeah plus I don’t know if this has anything to do with it but I’m a vegeterian.

I’m 15 years old and 5′7” and around 114 pounds. I am an athlete. Today I did three workouts, a 90 minute swim with my team (moderate swimming), a 90 minute vanyasa yoga class, and a 90 minute cross country practice which included cardio and a 6 mile run. According to a website, i burned way over 1,000 calories. To stay my same weight and keep up strength how many calories should I eat? I am a vegetarian by the way.

Well this is my story:
- When i was 6 years old i started to gain weight little by little over the years. So, when i was 16 i was 86kg. And decided to change my life. And i did. I wasn’t on some strict diet, i just changed the way i eat (more fruits, water, veggies; less meat, no soda, sweet stuff…) And..i was loosing weight (slowly but healthily) and after 4 months i was 66kg.
