Is it pointless for me being a vegetarian now?

I turned vegetarian in may because i didnt like the cruelty to animals and also to improve my health but i still eat a little bit of fish, however this christmas i had some turkey which i know was bad but christmas dinner is my favourite and my bro started making fun of me and i thought maybe i shouldnt be a vegetarian anymore but when i say that i think of those poor animals
