Mothers of vegeterian babies/children?
Do you give your child (omega 3) DHA supplements and if so what kind?
My son is being raised vegetarian, not vegan. Plenty of cultures raise healthy, intelligent vegetarian children.
I am a naturopath with a diploma in nutrition. My son’s diet is much healthier than the average American/Australian child. He is not lacking in any vitamins and minerals and his growth rate is normal.
But thanks for all those who answered and did not have the knowledge or intellect to contribute anything even remotely useful.

My son (almost 2) and I take an oil which contains the corret ratio of omega 3, 6 and 9 and also contains dha made from algae. Just wanted to see what others were using (and if there was a cheaper alternative for us)

out of interest this is the oil we currently take. It’s not in a pill form and you use it on salads, in smoothies etc. But it’s dear and tastes, ummm, interesting…
