I know a few vegetarians who are over weight. This is because they eat a lot of pasta, bread, cheese, butter and sweets.
If you want to lose weight, here are some suggestions:
1. Reduce your portions. Put your food on a smaller plate, and your eyes will tell you you have a full plate.
2. Eat slowly and thoroughly chew your food. If you eat quickly the “I’m full” trigger to your brain does not get triggered until you have eaten a lot of food, eating slower will make the trigger come faster, and you will feel full without eating as much.
3. Drink water with your meal. Drinking water also causes the “I’m full” trigger.

it depends on your portion, how much of the food you’re eating.
you should just cut down portions through out the day. vegetarian or not.

it depends on ur body. diff ppl react differently 2 different diets. theres a possiblity u could gain weight by going vegetarian. my friend actually gained 11 lbs durring a 3 month period while his family turned vegetarian. he started eating meat again and lost most of the weight. if u want good nutrition direction, go 2 a nutritionist, they WORK!!!!

yes, only IF you INCREASE the portion of VEGGIES/FRUITS instead of meat in your plate. Such a great logic, no magic!
Note: Pls do NOT go starving. You may eat as MUCH veggies/fruits that you like!
