Typical imitation crabmeat is made of fish, so no, it wouldn’t be vegetarian. However, I’ve heard that veggie versions exist of fish, crab & shrimp. I haven’t seen them in any of the grocery stores I have access to, so I couldn’t tell you much about them. If the ingredient list does not list any fish or meat, or animal derivative (fat, etc), then it’s probably okay. If it doesn’t have fish in it, I’d assume it’s made specifically FOR vegetarians and should say so on the package somewhere. Good luck.

It’s made of fish, just not of crab.

NO.
