can I use vegetable stock instead of beef stock?

6
I am planning on making dinner tonight but the recipe calls for beef stock and since I am cooking for a vegeterian, I would perfer to use vegetable stock … is that okay or should I just find another recipe?
yes he will eat products that come from animals (cheese, milk and so on) just not the animals themselves
and I am not a chef, nor do I pretend to be … I am a top contributor in Singles and Dating … not cooking!!!

I almost always substitute beef stock with vege stock. It’s just as good if not better.

I say find another one, unless you know what it tastes like
forget it. I make my own, freeze it and use it later with a meat
soup or stew. Does this vegetarian use eggs, cheese? if so
it’s a little easier to cook for.

Top contributor, how can you ask this? Feed a veggie beef stock?
