What are vegeterian sausages and burgers like?
I have had those burgers which are like a mash of peas, chickpeas, etc, they don’t really feel like a substitute for a burger. Are there any different ones?

Boca burgers are made with soy and they are great. I have also had Morningstar Farms and Gardenburger burgers and they are pretty good too-some of them are made with grains and veggies. I’m not crazy about meatless “sausage” or most chicken substitutes but Quorn is great, especially the turk’y roast.

I have tasted most of them and yes you are right about the tste and texture. They are like cubic zirconias. They are not diamonds but will have to do if you can’t afford the real thing.
Mock meats don’t taste or even feel like the real thing but they are good enough as a substitute and will have to do.
Of course the real solution is to have meat but that’s not really a solution in your case is it?
Try portobelo mushrooms. They can be marinated and grilled and served like a meat burger.

Morningstar Farms sausage links and sausage patties are DELICIOUS. Sadly not vegan. I miss them so much.

It depends on the brand you get. They all taste different. I’ve been buying these cocktail sausages by tofuti, and they’re really tasty. You can find them at most health food stores.
You just have to keep trying different ones until you find a brand you like. Though, you have to be prepared, none of them really taste like meat. Some just have a meatier texture.

Mostly quite good I think. I buy Linda Mcartney sausages when I can find them and they’rereally nice.
