That first person who answered hasn’t read this:

Don’t listen to them. That blood type diet theory is nonsense.

You can go vegetarian right away or a little at a time. It’s up to you. Some people will suggest that you stop eating mammals, then a week later you stop eating poultry, then the week after that you stop eating fish and slaughter by-products (lard, gelatin, etc.). There are imitation meats out there that can help you, but don’t lean on them too heavily because they aren’t the best thing in the world health-wise. To replace the nutrients that you are used to getting from meat, legumes (beans, lentils, chickpeas, etc.) are great, as are some vegetables. Try to eat healthy stuff like whole grains and fresh fruits and veggies as much as you can, as opposed to stuffing yourself with empty calories like noodles and cookies. Variety is the way to go. That’s my advice – if you have other questions let us know.

I suggest gradually stop eating it, let your body adjust.
I remember when I stopped eating meat, I gained so much weight by substituting meat with junk. Make sure you’re still consuming enough proteins and such!
Congrats and good luck! :]

You just stop eating meat. It’s that simple. All it takes is will power.
