Marketing Strategies
Your eating from cross country to track is not going to change.
You still need the same required amounts of carbohydrates, and protein.
So, how can you be vegetarian and not have good eating habits?
Obviously you are going to eat fruits and vegetables, make sure you get enough calories per day.
You can get the protein from soy, bean, nuts, and cheese.
Marketing Strategies
Lots of pasta, and carbohydrates. Lot and lots of fluids. Basically your diet should change that much. I ran cross country this year for school and I am also a vegetarian. The only thing is that I am type 1 diabetic, so I had modify what I ate to accomadate my blood sugar.
Eat plenty of fruit. It breaks down into fructose, a good form of sugar resulting from the carbohydrates in the fruit. Apples and bananas have the most carbohydrates, besides they taste good! Also try BOCA or Morningstar veggie burgers to keep your protein levels strong.
